The Unclean

Priest is a TokyoPop comic set in a world ravaged by centuries of war. The war is between humans and vampires and the story follows a warrior priest who turns against the church to track down a murderous band of vampires who have kidnapped his niece.

Now that comic is coming to the big screen with Cam Gigandet starring opposite of Paul Bettany (Silas from The Da Vinci Code) with Scott Stewart directing the western horror.

Gigandet plays a young wasteland sheriff who is part vampire. He partners with Bettany to save the girl he loves, the niece. That latter part has yet to be cast.
