Rose Hathaway is a half-human/half-vampire, known as a Dhampir. Her best friend Vasilisa (Lissa) is a Moroi princess. They have both been on the run for two years from the authorities of the St. Vladimir’s Academy where they both went to school. They are eventually caught by a group of the schools guardians led by Dimitri Belikov, and are sent back to the Academy in Montana.

Every creature or being that was thought to be mythical, isn’t. They all secretly exist alongside humans and enjoy the gift of immortality.
