Walk thru a world of demons and angels, magic and mayhem with a wizard named Harry. Harry Dresden is a wizard and a private investigator; hey, everyone needs to make a living. With a mysterious and sorted past, Harry knows too well the dark side of magic and yet finds himself walking the line far too often.
Jim Butcher has made an incredible world very realistic and has created horrors for us to enjoy. The books have done very well, and inspired a TV series and comics based on them. He is exceptionally adept at giving life to his characters and making them human and giving us enough to relate to them. He is also very good at making a solid plot with decent twits while putting his characters thru the ringer. While there are rumblings and rumors, there is yet to be announced any film or animated series for the Dresden Files. IMHO, the animated series would be far better suited and would need to be geared towards the audience the books are intended for, not the kiddies.
