The Unclean

Michael Corvin is a medical student on his way home after a long day when he finds himself in the middle of what appears to be a rumble between two well turned-out street gangs. Michael soon finds out that he was witness to a skirmish between two warring factions, Vampires and Lycans (werewolves). Selene is a leading member of the Death Dealers, vampires that hunt down werewolves, discovers that the Lycans have begun to rebuild and have plans to capture the Michael. So, she begins following Michael around and she finds herself growing emotionally attached to him. As Selene becomes more attracted to Michael, she becomes more convinced that the Lycans are planning a major attack against the vampires. However, one of the leaders of the council of the vampires, Kraven not only has his eye on Selene, but that she is also giving the Lycans more credit than they deserve. As Selene shadows Michael, she finds herself wanting to protect him when he’s attacked by Lucian, the leader of the werewolf community. She soon finds out about the history of both the vampires and werewolves and the origins of the centuries long war.
