After Agnes meets Peter (played by Michael Shannon), they get together and he becomes her protector and lover. Peter begins to talk to her about various conspiracy theories, secret government experiment on soldiers, the war in Iraq, UFOs, the Oklahoma City bombings, cult suicides and other paranoid shit.
