The SuicideGirls online community is filled with profiles of goth, punk, emo and indie-styled women, who themselves are known as the “Suicide Girls”. The site has incorporated some styles reminiscent of the 1940s and ’50s pin-up models and is an online community with member profiles and message boards, and features interviews with major figures in popular and alternative culture.
There are currently over 1,400 girls in the collection, with ten of thousands of photo sets and videos. To try and catalog even a fraction of them would be insane, certainly fun and worth the ‘hard’ work, but absolutely insane. Instead, I’ve opted to feature some of my personal favs.
