An updated version of the beginning of the Buffyverse is underway. That’s right, the Hollywood remake machine continues to crank out ‘revisionings’ of classics. This time, it’s the 1992 Buffy the Vampire Slayer. And there is something that every fan of the movie, tv series and/or comics should know. Joss Whedon is not involved at all; so far.

As mentioned earlier, Andy Hallett passed away the age of 33 from heart failure. He was best known as the Host, Lorne, on the TV Show Angel. Now, Andy Hallett’s agent has come forward with a statement from the family for those that would like to make donations for a scholarship fund that Andy had worked to support throughout his life.

Andy Hallett is dead…Andy Hallet passed away at the age of 33 of heart failure while at Cedars-Sinai Hospital. Andy was an American singer and actor best known for playing the part of Lorne (aka ‘The Host’) on the television series Angel.

It seems that both Richard Jenkins and Bradley Whitford are officially in the upcoming film by Joss Whedon, The Cabin in the Woods.
