[ September 18, 2009; ] When human blood has become contaminated with toxins (drugs, disease, etc), a small group of the few remaining vampires leave the underground in search of pure blood. But a cowboy hat wearing, samurai sword wielding Priest is also out for blood, Vampire blood.

The 2009 Vampire Film Series & Festival returns home to New Orleans this Autumn 2009. The Vampire Film Festival is showcases the filmmakers who work in this supernatural genre, to further the mythology and lore of vampires.

Edward Dalton is a researcher in the year 2019, in which an unknown plague has transformed the world’s population into vampires. As the human population nears extinction, vampires must capture and farm every remaining human, or find a blood substitute before time runs out. However, a covert group of vampires makes a remarkable discovery, one which has the power to save the human race.

Rose Hathaway is a half-human/half-vampire, known as a Dhampir. Her best friend Vasilisa (Lissa) is a Moroi princess. They have both been on the run for two years from the authorities of the St. Vladimir’s Academy where they both went to school. They are eventually caught by a group of the schools guardians led by Dimitri Belikov, and are sent back to the Academy in Montana.

Priest is a TokyoPop comic set in a world ravaged by centuries of war. The war is between humans and vampires and the story follows a warrior priest who turns against the church to track down a murderous band of vampires who have kidnapped his niece.
