It’s really no surprise, The Twilight Saga: Eclipse has put out some very impressive numbers for the midnight release. IT surpassed The Twilight Saga: New Moon’s previous benchmark of $26.3 million.

A new book from Chris Farnsworth titled Blood Oath: The Presidents Vampire is out on May 18th. It is an interesting political vampire mashup based in the mid 1800′s.

Craig Gillespie is directing, Marti Noxon is writing and Anton Yelchin is in the Fright Night remake. Now the 1985 vampire movie remake has Colin Farrel on the bill too. Farrell has the plum role of the vampire, named Jerry, who on the surface appears to be a cool guy but is really preying on the neighborhood.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer Season Nine is coming soon. The hit Dark Horse continuation of the TV show is set to debut about six months after the wrap up of Season Eight.

Good news for True Blood fans, the hit show has now spawned a new comic developed by Alan Ball himself and published by IDW. The comic will ship out on July 21st.
